INDUCTION MELTING WATER-COOLED POWER CABLES

Power cables are often considered a consumable component of the induction furnace; that doesn’t have to be. This is why we present the customer alternate flow, wire-package and core spring designs, thermal/abrasion protection and terminal design options. We want you to have the choice to optimize the design and survivability of your water-cooled power cables.

Water-cooled power cables for induction melting furnaces are the core of our business. We are proud to be the largest Independent North American Supplier of repair, replacement and new designs of water-cooled power cables serving induction melting furnace users. In all areas of induction melting, whether it is coreless vacuum melting (VIM), coreless air melting or channel furnaces, we lead the way in after-market services and supply for all international and domestic manufacturers. Most Original Equipment Manufacturers (O.E.M.s) provide new cables with their systems and offer repair and replacement cables in their aftermarket units, however, they also charge a heavy premium for those services. Our focus is on power cables! All of our purchasing, production and engineering efforts are exclusive for power cables. These concentrated efforts allow us to procure the best quality materials at the best cost. Accompany this with our streamlined manufacturing process and it makes us the best over-all value, low-cost producer of water-cooled power cables - allowing us to pass those savings on to you.

With over 40 years of combined experience, I²r is able to provide comprehensive field analysis, site recommendations and design modifications, all at no-cost and no-obligation to you. Our goal is to provide the best over-all value and apply the best product to achieve maximum survivability.

NON-CONDUCTIVE HOSE
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONSview specs
Hi-Voltage Non-Conductive Hose
Non-conductive hose is used in applications where complete electrical non-conductivity is a critical issue. Both the SBR (Styrene-Butadiene Rubber) and the cover are non-conductive material. This hose is suitable for severe ellectrical applications like Induction furnaces, power plants, and underground mining applications.
Construction: The tube is non-conductive synthetic rubber. The tube is reinforced with plies of polyester tire cord. The hose cover is green in color constucted with weather and abraison resistant rubber.
80 Durometer Hose Cover - Shore D Tested
Temperature Range: Up to + 180°F
